We normally charter for a week Sunday to Saturday and can take up to 12 passengers in comfortable twin-berth cabins. We have a well-equipped galley and spacious saloon where you can eat, relax and organise. 

This is a voyage to bring the ship from one port to another. Often over many hundreds of miles.

Sessions and Sail is a musical themed voyage sailing on the  102 foot Brigantine Lady of Avenel.

The trips will  combine sailing a Brigantine with musical tuition, performances, workshops and sessions with renowned musicians.

This is a trip for lovers of Bluegrass, Old Time, Country, Swing and American styles in particular. Mandolinist/fiddler Pepita Emmerichs and guitarist Theo Barnard will be aboard all week as sail-with tutors to help make sure the tunes keep going.

a sketchbook with colourful memories of this spectacular scenery.

We are two artists, Claudia and Jane, with different styles and experiences, and we are looking for people to join us on a sketching and sailing adventure. We hope that you will be part of it.

The focus of Sketch and Sail is on creating sketches rather than finished paintings. You could create the beginnings of a visual travel diary, full of nature observations, colours, notes, ideas and inspirations. ​
