2024 Season on the Lady of Avenel
Our season runs from April through until mid-October and is a mix of partner voyages, private charters, groups, and delivery or passage trips. We look forward to seeing you on our next adventure!

On this voyage we plan to bring not just one ship, but two or possibly three!
We are able to reserve places now aboard Lady of Avenel, our usual vessel, and Dutch barge Volharding. Both ships will sail with a musical crew, including onboard tutors

The expedition will be facilitated by Laura and Tom both of whom are freediving instructors with a passion for adventure! Whether you are a seriously experienced Freediver or a total newbie wanting to level up your snorkelling, we can cater to your needs as we enjoy the biodiverse and cold clear waters of the Scottish West Coast.

Expect breathwork sessions, yoga, SUP time, hikes, wild swimming, cold water immersion and snorkeling/freediving.

The Father and Sons Adventure Voyages leader, Charles Lyster, lost his father 25 years ago and progressively, throughout his exciting life sailing and in the outdoors, he has always wished he’d spent more time with him.

The ‘Fathers and Sons’ voyage was set up to enable fathers and sons to share powerful experiences together aboard a sailing vessel and in remote and wild places on land.
